This beautiful Quinta is situated in Funchal close to its principal historical area overlooking the sea and the mountains. This charming Madeiran family home was built in the 18th century in 1750. More recently it was the home of well known French and British families.

The Quinta Jardins do Lago with 31 double rooms, 4 junior suites and 5 premier suites, all facing south to the tropical gardens and the sea was designed to offer the best in modern functionality and traditional comfort and style. The interior of the old manor house was refurbished and decorated to maintain its original standard and ambience.

This beautiful Quinta is situated 1,5 Km from Funchal centre overlooking the sea and the mountains and close to its principal historical area like Museum das Cruzes, Frederico Freitas, Municipal, João Carlos Nunes Abreu Cultural and Civic Centre and Santa Clara Convent.

Getting there - Quinta Jardins do Lago

Set the counter to zero.Follow the only route out of the airport terminal, and the signpost pointing to Funchal / Câmara de Lobos / Ribeira Brava. The sea is to your left.Drive through the 1st tunnel, followed by another set of tunnels.You will drive pass a Shell Petrol Station to your right.Follow sign post to Funchal / Câmara de Lobos / Ribeira Brava.Keep following signpost to Funchal / Câmara de Lobos / Ribeira Brava.Leave the Freeway (just after the Tunnel), turning to your right at the sign posted to São Roque / Monte.Take the right again to Funchal/Estação.

Take the right lane at the roundabout and follow the road up, straight ahead(Modelo Hypermarket is to your right.)

Take the first left (there is a blue sign saying Quinta Jardins do Lago)Brisa Restaurant is on your right hand side.Turn left and about 50 meters after, turn left again in a crossroad where there is a Pizzeria called “My Pizza” on the left side of the street. On the right side there is a big yellow wall. A few meters ahead you will find Quinta Jardins do Lago.

Cancellation

All reservations cancel 7 days before the arrival day, no charges will be done.
Reservations made after the 7 days before the arrival day will be charge 40% over the total amount in B&B basis.
No-Show will be charge the full stay in B&B basis.

Children and extra beds

Children from 1 day to 2 Years Old - Sharing room Free of Charge.
Children between 3 to 12 Years Old - 50% discount over an adult price sharing room with two adults.
3rd Person (13 or more Years) - 25% discount over an adult price sharing room with two adults.

Parking

Free parking place in the gardens of the Quinta supervised.

Pets

Pets are not alowed.

Pre-payment

Our reservation policy consists in a 40% deposit on the act of confirmation to guarantee the accommodation. If our offer is accepted could you kindly send us at your earliest convenience your credit card details (number, expired date and security code) for us to charge the deposit and the remaining 60% can be paid on your departure day.
